Depressed, the ladies get intoxicated and lose their inhibitions celebrating Julia's birthday at new client Bonnie Jean Poteet's home --- strapping Anthony to a bondage wheel, while a drunken Julia loses her shares of the company to B.J. in a card game.

ON THE ROAD AGAIN -October 23, 1992

Mary Jo is afraid her son is going to go live with his father after he tells her she lacks verve and spontaneity. Hoping to be more exciting, Mary Jo takes off on a "Thelma and Louise" style road trip, dragging along Bernice and Julia --- who hopes to meet up with her conductor boyfriend on the road. Anthony and Carlene are left to study for their exams, but the stress convinces them to let B. J. hang them upside-down in some relaxation equipment.

With Sugarbaker's in such bad financial shape, the ladies are grateful when B. J. gets them a job redecorating a house that resembles the great home from Gone With The Wind -- until they find out that the new lady of the house plans to rip out the grand staircase and replace it with an elevator. To make matters worse, B. J. finds out that their client is trying to take over Poteet Industries and plans to give Sugarbaker's to his young bride Kiki -- renaming it "Kikibaker's." This final episode features each of the ladies dreaming that she is Scarlett O'Hara --- including Bernice, who imagines Anthony carrying her up the grand staircase.
